Biography
Growing up in an artistic family, art and design have always played a key role in Nona's life. Based in San Diego, CA, Nona Zarei began working as an interior designer in 1999. For the past number of years, Nona has had the pleasure of working in both residential and commercial environments, everything from renovations to new building construction. During the course of working together on the projects, Nona has developed special relationships with her clientele that moved beyond designer and client to that of friends due to the close, personal attention each person receives from Nona.

At Nona Interior Designers, we prove our ability to work within a wide range of styles, creating environments far beyond the traditional role filled by other interior designers. She enjoys calling upon collections from the past and the opportunity to reinterpret them in a new contemporary environment. She has traveled throughout Spain, France, Greece and Italy, just to name a few, for the sole purpose of bringing back unique design elements, ideas about design from history, as well as new innovations at the forefront of European interior design. Her travels have served to lend an air of European flair, sophistication and simplicity to her designs that enhance the American lifestyle.

Creating lasting impressions through interior design
Nona Interior Designers is a full-service interior design firm. We will design within the client's budget and according to their tastes, wants and needs. Our interior design services begin with the initial client interview where we determine the scope of the project to be undertaken. After the project scope has been determined and the necessary terms of service have been agreed upon, we will embark on this exciting journey together.
At each stage, we provide design concepts, hand-rendered sketches, 3D-modeling , floor plans, space planning, AUTOCAD services, drapery design, assistwith lighting design, and assist the client in the selection of lighting and plumbing fixtures, appliances, materials such as tile, paint, and flooring, and furniture. We also determine the best layout of the furniture for optimal use of and navigation through the space. Please read some of our clients' recommendations here.

I'm in the process of building a 12,000 square-foot home in Rancho Santa Fe. More importantly, I wouldn't say I'm the easiest client to have because I'm very determined of what I want l, so, I did not want to hire a designer. I've interviewed several and was not impressed by any.... but then I met Nona.... Not only is she beautiful, elegant, classy, but her knowledge and exquisite taste supersedes everybody I've met.
